Ocean Science Literacy in the Lab

The Huntsman Marine Science Centre has partnered with Sir James Dunn Academy to immerse local high school students in an afternoon of ocean science. While on campus the students will work in the teaching lab with modern scientific equipment to study plankton and the external anatomy of a live sea urchin.

Ocean Science Literacy

The Huntsman Marine Science Centre has partnered with the Boys and Girls Club of Charlotte County Youth Centre to immerse local students in a day of ocean science. While on campus the students will board the Huntsman research vessel, the Fundy Spray to collect live marine benthic invertebrates, plankton and oceanographic data such as salinity and temperature from Passamaquoddy Bay. The students will also tour the Huntsman Fundy Discovery Aquarium, which has a diverse collection of marine organisms from the Bay of Fundy.
