Join the Science Connection Community of Practice for Science Literacy Week!

From June through October, our monthly sessions will bring together science communicators, educators, STEM outreach professionals, health professionals, researchers, and community organizations from across Canada and beyond to learn, connect, exchange ideas, and strengthen science engagement.

Our opening session:
From anti-vax to vaccine advocate – Lessons in rebuilding trust

Our guest speaker Lydia Green, Licensed Practical Nurse and vaccine advocate, will share her lived experience of becoming anti-vax despite a career in STEM, and what ultimately changed her perspective after more than a decade.

Join the conversation and help strengthen science literacy and community impact across Canada.

When we share the best available science, we all win.

Over the years, Science Literacy Week and its partners have developed educational resources and creative ways of advancing science literacy, sharing STEM knowledge and empowering critical thinking.

Check out the resources we have available, including illustrations and texts by talented Canadian illustrators and science writers.

We know we can’t do this alone.

Are you a STEM learning leader with resources to share? We’d love to hear from you. If you have a resource you want featured, fill out this form and let us know.
